this is a stupid video, its a stupid channel, he just gives his opinion just like everyone else but! he trys to make it sound like it acctualy is the best dslr when its not everyone wants diffrent things in a camera other wise there wouldnt be other makes and models. i only have a sony alpha a200 most people would say its shit but its my first dslr i picked it up real cheap and im happy with it and i shoot great pictures with it and isnt that the purpose with these cameras? great shots!

Yes you can. I've got a 60D, and its exactly the same.

@Cman775 I've used both extensively and the only pro for the 7D in my opinion is that it has more fps. But it is *much* worse under low light. Try the D7K for an extended period of time taking pictures of dark theater plays as I do, and you'll see what I'm talking about. Hell, not even the D700's full sensor is as good under very low light...

@leo140485 Only happened with an old 50mm f/1.4 AF-D (works fine with 10+ lenses I've tried, though). Try other lenses, and remember that the D7K has individual and default fine focusing adjustments.

Excellent review. BTW what microphone do you use? It is really good!

You have any focus issues in D7000? Mine Back-Focuses a lot and I've had to AF-Tune it. But I've been told that it's a manufacture fault and I need to send back to Nikon

@TyphoonJaa How does one us .8 of a bit? Almost a current?

I love sifting through all these comments lol. You guys get so wound up over canon and Nikon. The truth is this, canon is no better than Nikon , and Nikon is no better than Canon. It's what YOU are most comfortable with. They both have different features for different needs and shooting styles. You need to base your decision on what camera best fits your needs and what feels better in the hand.

@Cman775 If your aim is video, then the 7D is better. But, if your aim is still photography, then the D7000 is better.

@Cman775 Actually I recently got to play around with a 7D and I was shooting in a dark corridor I involuntarily laughed out loud at the ISO performance on the 7D. I was literally thinking "this is a pro crop camera?" And remember that the D7000 isn't even suppose to be competing with the 7D, it's competitor on the Canon side is the 60D. And the thing about DR just isn't true. Youtube search Nikon DX vs. Canon APS-C, there's a comprehensive video showing the DX sensor has superior DR.
An Update to this vids info;
D5100 Is a better value for money as an overall package with great specs.
You can get 64GB SD-Cards so no issues there.
The K-5 Has the best dynamic Range (any sensor), better colour recognition and better ISO Noise reduction.
The D5100 Has better High ISO performance without any suppression applied
Sony Alpha 580 Has the best colour recognition out of any Crop sensor, it is almost 24bit (23.8bit) which is incredibly impressive, it's also a lot cheaper than the D7000

@TyphoonJaa - You're entitled to your opinion of course, but I don't agree.
The Nikon D5100 is not better value for the money. The D7000 is WAY more camera for very little extra cash.
Dual cards slots are better than one slot with a higher memory card. If you don't get that, you've never shot professionally.
The Pentax K-5 is nice and the sensor is the same as the Nikon D7000. That said, the Nikon D7000 has better high ISO than the K-5.

Number 9. you can take stills whilst in video mode by pressing the shutter button, then it quickly switches back to video mode. (can't in 60D)
Number 10. to switch to video mode on the 7000, pull a nifty finger trigger, on 60D, you have to turn a dial around whilst holding a button down
