Finally, a showman. The moderna magicians, like Criss Angel and David Blaine are completely dead pan with no humor at all. Tommy was the best.

@woowmagic1 I prefer modern acts like Criss Angel to Tommy Wonder. I think they are more in touch with modern magic than this old fashioned stuff!

@chessmeister this is such a naive and ignorant to say.... you clearly are not a magician with any talent or understanding of the craft.... i agree that david blaine is a lackluster performer but criss angel is far from lacking in bravado and showmanship. The television show is what it is... his character in the show IS his performance.... i challenge anyone to go to Criss angel's live shows in vegas or when he tours and come away honestly not impressed by him.

It doesn´t necessarily mean the goldmedal act was better. A jury decided that, not the audience.
The same goes for the Oscar nominee. I give a shit about such contests.
What really matters is MY impression as a spectator an nothing else.
Tommy Wonder was one the best magician I´ve ever seen.
