  • You're welcome.

  • Wasn't Jonathan Larson's death the day before opening night??

  • It was before the Off-Broadway production's opening night. This is on Broadway.

  • This is the best. is this really opening night?

  • Yes.

  • So fucking nineties. So fucking beautiful.

Anthony Rapp is so uniquely expressive in his performance.

This song really encompasses a lot of important aspects of the song.

In America, you, unfortunately, are what you own.

This is about friends living at the turn of the millennium.

In the late 90's, they unfortunately had a more gentrified, trendy, religious, neo-conservative America to look forward to, even if they didn't know it.

  • @RanmaChan93 yeah he died the night before :( RIP JONATHAN i love this show

  • Now THIS is the only stage performance of Rent I'm willing to see. There's an O-Br revival going on, but I heard it's really bad. The actors don't have a grasp on the characters at all.

  • amazing! i love it <3

  • @twihardtwilightfan Very cool story. Thanks for sharing it!

  • I effing love Anthony Rapp's voice. It's stunning.

  • When I turned six I was exposed to this musical, didn't pay too much attention until I was eleven. The motion picture came out 2005 I was 14 at the time, I bought the soundtrack.
