i'm too young to have gone to his concerts but my mate told me people used to throw spliffs on the stage for him. my mate got me into real folk music and i never looked back since. i was into hardcore and trance in my teens years back. but now years later. how can anything be better than roy or john martyn

I too heard this for the first time on the Radcliff and Maconie show BBC R2, had never heard of this guy before. Such depth and feeling and takes you back to another age. Not many singers do that nowadays, Its all ' Biff Bang '. Whatever happened to good old fashioned song writing? This is excellent listening....A++
