@lesjoe08 That;s true but if you look at some Vintage COGIC you tube clips you can hardly tell that these events happened over 20 yrs ago. Those traditions of uniformity kept the message current. When you're wearing choir robes without earrings & make up & nicely cut hair, pictures can look as current in 2011 as it did in 1981. This is true in ART that is why you see Artist of the past of people even in nude. You can't tell whether it was taken in the 17th or 21st century. But don't go nude:-)

@jonesvj I like how you put that. I agree with you as well. It's not about her runs, scats, or raspy voice, even though she can do them very well, but it's about the anointing and message that she carries and sends to people through the word. It just enhances her voice.

It has absolutley nothing to do with being saved, it is nothing but tradition. Its almost as crazy as women not wearing pants in the church, just crazy. My God,
I don't know how anyone could sit there with there legs crossed and say they are in Christ Jesus, and not worship God after this.....
I will never take lightly what God has done, is doing and shall do in my life. This song is such a sweet smelling fragrance of worship to God in my opinion.
Lord, don't ever let me get so high, so low, or focused on my circumstances that I forget to tell you thank you!
