http://jeffwylereastgatemazda.com/Model.aspx?d=374 New 2009 Mazda 5 Cincinnati review by Jeff Wyler Eastgate Mazda, a full service new and used Mazda dealership serving the Cincinnati market. Video review of the new Mazda 5 for 2009.
So what did you decide to buy? I. too found that the 5 did not grip the road very well, but I wonder if that was because of the OEM tires that come with the vehicle. My biggest concern with the Mazda 5 was with build quality- it felt quite rickety and cheaply put together but winder if that is because of the boxy frame construction without the middle pillars- causing the car to twist and flex more than other conventional designs. The new Subaru Outbacks look good; check them & Outlander XLS out.
We're looking at this car to purchase. It does seem the most practical - because of its high gas mileage, 6 seats, and lots of cargo space (with the 3rd row folded down). We are only a 4-person family, so this car seems great because on family trips everyone would have a big, comfy seat. However the 2 kids of the family are in high school, and we don't know if we want to be driving around a "mini-mini-van" when the kids are gone. Also, it didn't feel like it really "gripped" the road very well.
