Polls repeatedly show a supermajority of Minnesotans want photographic identification to be required to vote. Let's come together to pass this common-sense provision into law.

I remember after 9/11 everyone saying that we were attacked out of hatred for our freedom and way of life. If so then the terrorist are winning. We are giving up our freedoms little by little. We are slowly destroying our country and enslaving ourselves. Terrorist only need to post an occasional internet video inciting fear, have a few failed and poorly planned attacks. I imagine 9/11 took years of planning, now they can sit back and enjoy the show.

An ID card cost money which seems in my opinion to be a poll tax which is unconstitutional. The only way they could require an ID is by providing free and accessible IDs to anyone of voting age. Of course once they start requiring IDs, that will have computer chips loaded up with all of our personal info that can be scanned and read simply by walking by, that will bring up even more issues. We can't change everything we do and how our society functions b/c we are afraid.

Of course they want Voter ID - there's 70,000 Somalis living in Minneapolis. What were they thinking inviting all those people to live there?
