While unrelated to this particular case, with the potential for such extreme catastrophic consequences for the world from climate change, I would suggest that violence is justified if it could provide meaningful results in the cause of trying to prevent the worst outcome becoming a reality, if there were no other effective alternative.

I agree, but climate change and pollution are two different matters completely. You need to wake up and pay attention to that!

There are still lots of issues with toxic chemicals, hormone disruptors, material supply chains, and production ethics that have to be dealt with if we want to have a healthy world.
