Man, this is guy is so clearly tired of answering Kotter questions but yet so polite and patient with the interviewer. What a class act.

The only way to do a reunion is like Freddie BOOM BOOM Washington said, have all of them there talking about it. To have then do a movie in character would be pretty stale, like asking a 1960's singer who hasn't sung since to do his hits and do them perfectly.

I doubt that a"Welcome Back Kotter"movie will ever happened..especially since
Mr.White..who played"Mr.Woodman"is long gone.

Taped in 2006 or 2007, I think. I am hoping there will be a well-made reunion movie still. He's right, it shouldn't be done at all if not made well, and in the current climate, most studio execs won't do it UNLESS it is shitty. Meaning demographics, stats, and different actors hoping to make money, not art.

Season 1 is on DVD and it says there are old auditions or something in the extras. Nab it! and write and ask for more extras!
