  • One of his best, and most enigmatic, songs. Yes, the wrong chord shows he's human! :)

  • How can you not cry at this song? It's beautiful. Spot the wrong chord at 2.49.

  • so much love...so many tears...so great...all time classic...amazing as always...we will...dub

  • he's very good...I mean, he still remains very good, a great singer and a great songwriter!

  • A very heartwarming tune and lyrics. A masterpiece really.

  • non capisco le parole ma la musica è bellissima .molto raffinata. geniale.

    bravo gilbert.

  • Gilbert is one great songwriter!!!

  • Gilbert is in the soundtrack of some of the best years of my life! This takes me all the way back...thanks for posting. I LOVE YOU TUBE!!!!

  • The second verse "pleased to bits, can't believe you came, we've relived it both, over time and time again" always reminds me of Jesus story about the Prodigal Son. I imagine when the Father first lays eyes on his prodigal son, that the vision is burned into his memory as he focused on the joy of his sons return not the punishment for his sins. This song always makes me cry. Mr O'Sullivan is a great song writer. Up there with St Mark Heard and The Beatles. We will listen time and time again.

  • This man is a true song man, a troubadour, like a Sondheim, Rogers and Hammerstein, a man who knows what music really is all about. I believe that after Mick Jagger is long forgotten O'Sullivan will be rediscovered as I just rediscovered him and was thrilled. God bless you Gilbert Ray O'Sullivan.
