  • I don't know what the confusion is about.... i lifted the motor up and took off the oil pan to look up. The CONNECTING rod was bent. Once i seen that, I didn't even give a shit about the motor. I pulled it and sold it for $700. Left the 28lb injectors on the fuel rail, the 1.6 roller rockers, lifters, 58mm bbk throttle body, and the cam in the thing and sold it with a dyno tuned 94 obd 1 computer with harness. I have a 96. Also, what video below this are you talking about???

  • This knocking could be avoided entirely by never starting the engine. I walk past the Ford and GM dealer lots and I never hear knocking. A new, parked car don't knock. This is a profound branch of science. I used to work at Hooters, and usually there is a lot of knocking there.

  • its only a pile of shit when it hasn't been taken care of, an engine can last a long time if its taken care of, oil changed regularly, coolant flushed and kept up, and not raced alot. My 350 wasn't taken care of in the past, and it knocks from time to time, but its because no one took care of it.

  • Ehm... diesel?

  • My gas, temp, and oil gage is not workin why is this?

  • NO I don't believe you CHEVROLETS never ever break. I have never ever seen any thing break on any CHEVROLET. Only other brands break CHEVROLET is absolutly perfect in every way. Any AMERICAN knows that. GM is god GM is better then GOD GM is kingshit. Don't ever bad mouth GM ever again. I have 4 million miles on my SILVERADO and haven't replaced a wiperblade or even a tire nothing ever goes wrong with a GM PERIOD and you will LIKE iT....

  • how do you bend a connecting rod there pretty strong

  • ouch rods are gone !! bearing are deffinetly spinning !

  • I have a 1996 Ford Mustang with a 3.8L when the temp gauge went all the way to the H, I was in troubles, it started to smoke in white pretty bad and started to sound like a 1926 FORD MODEL T similar to this sound!

  • wait no, the piston is hitting the head and the rod is bad or broken. lol. look at the vid below yours. sounds the same.
