  • @zekal10 The double standard exists in the minds of the minority who is seething because they SIT and DEAL with the insidious aftereffects of the jim crow legislature and psychological torment bred in our children through a racist socioeconomic system. Well educated blacks have NO qualms allowing a white person to speak their mind. THE PROBLEM IS THOUGH COMPARING YOUR SITUATION WITH OURS.I'll take your double standard over what it takes to be a black female in a predominately white area.

  • @roosevelt74 RACIST is not a verb. It's a noun. And by your definition it proves nigger/nigga is a racist term. You know why?Because that is what the WHITE slave-masters called the slaves to call them and put them in their place. The illiterate slaves who could not pronounce the word called each other "nigga". Negro however is not a racist word at all. THAT might be what you call a "racial" word and is never referred ad the N word... -_____-

  • Not all black people run from cops. I don't care for the way the judicial or law enforcement system in America proceeds sometimes but there is no reason to run as I'm not doing anything wrong. This statement makes it seem like every black man is a criminal because only a criminal needs to flee from the law. He wants to talk about hypocrites, he needs to take the time to think about what he says and how that teaches America. Don't just say things to shock people, say things to teach and uplift.

  • lol

  • @zekal10 that made it through slavery, Dred Scott, Jim Crow, seperate but equal, and denial of civil rights, the hatred that had to be endured to make it where we are. Yes, Obama is a great man, but one black man in public housing in DC does not solve the problems of African-American culture across the board. He represens what we can be, but not who we are right now. Okay, I'm done. (:

  • @zekal10 As a black woman, I totally agree with you. There is a double standard. The way I feel is certain things should not be said at all. If one word has enough power behind it to only be delegated to one group, it is a word that should not be used. Whether the contemporary "friendlier" usage of the N word, for example, or the original is used, both come from a place of derogatory hatred. That needs to be remembered. That word sums up for the past black generations,

  • My point is you have no point. Give me an example of ANYTHING a white person say that wouldn't be tolerated. Fact is, there's a double standard in this country. If a white person says something, it's labeled "racist". If a black person says the same thing, then it's "funny".

  • @zekal10 So what. There are things that white people say amongst whites that wouldn't be accepted, or even tolerated, if it came from a black person's mouth. What's your point exactly?

  • Had a white man said what Dyson said in regards to Obama running away from race that white man would be labeled a racist until the day of his death.

  • BUT THE POLICE EVENTUALLY CATCH THE BLACKS.
