First of all, that cymbal is called a hi-hat. Second, I just watched the live video, and Casey is hitting that cymbal the whole song. The thing is, Casey has it clamped tighter so there's less of that "TSSHH" sound, it's a lot quieter.

You're hitting that thing way too much... that cymbal or whatever to your left? like this constant droning of TSSHH TSSHH TSHHH TSSHHH during the main parts of the song, that's not part of it... it becomes annoying. Watch the live performances of soul society.
