  • This seems like the best macroscopic analogy for the double-slit experiment yet. But I wonder if they can find a similar analogy for the delayed choice experiment, or Bell tests, which are even weirder...

  • Wow, this is brilliant! Thanks for uploading this Josh!

  • @Cmu6eh It's actually not a terrific match for Bohmian mechanics- the main problem is that trajectories in this fluid mechanics experiment cross. This issue means that a quantum potential can not be defined.

  • this kind of blew my mind! not only is this an outstanding new way to understand and experiment quantum physics with inexpensive tools, but also I just heard Morgan Freeman's real voice for the first time (I'm german) and the german one is betta! :D

  • This is a good model for the way the bohm interpretation works; people didn't like it because it happens to use hidden variables. But thats not an issue anymore because neutrinos go faster than light, so SR/GR are wrong.

  • @md2perpe Yes, it does give an interference pattern. You can see diagrams in their research paper "Single-Particle Diffraction and Interference at a Macroscopic Scale"

  • Does this give an interference pattern in the double slit experiment?
