Thank you so much for posting this, Tristan! You were terrific! I saw you 6 times! There was so much to see in this particular act--beautiful Donna above, crazy redhead to your right (one of my overall favorite ladies in the show), & of course, the blue cuties to your left. I really like the music, & your playing is so f#$%ing cool! I wonder if Jimmy Page has ever seen Quidam?

Thanks for posting this. Quidam was the first Cirque show I saw back in 1996 and it's still my favorite! Great performance!

yo vi eso en mexico :) fue genial!!!!
Thanks. I had to come up with my own interpretation... the only direction I was given was to "look angry". I just thought about what the government was taking out of my cheque... That did it every time!
Eventually I developed a thing where Boum Boum (death) and I are battling it out over the fate of Donna, the aerialist. He wants her to fall, I want her to fly. But I am fairly menacing and crazy too, so it's not a simple contest of good and evil.

That's what was happening in my head, so by God that's how it was.

I had this made for training purposes... I know it would have been much more exciting with Dee in it.
I would look out at the audience every night and see every face looking up at her (and why not? she's the one risking her life) and maybe one or 2 turned to me with that unmistakable expression of "what the f#$% is he doing?!".
As for the "Naughty Girls" ....I did about 500-550 performances of "Quidam" and I still don't get a lot of it.
