My family moved to North Travis in 1959. Bowen's, Bob's Better Burger and the barber shop were there then. Very little has changed in all three since then.

I'm from Midland originally and my first thought was that had to be the corner of Thomason and Wall because I recognized the convenience store sign on the corner.
My second thought was "Hey, that means that this must be shot from right out front of Bob's!" To this day my favorite sandwich in all the world is their bbq sandwich...and I haven't had one in 20 years or so.
I grew up right down the road from where this was shot. I lived at 913 Howard...
