In my opinion, you can act insane and still sound good. In fact, the look on her face is creepy at some points in this performance, and she didn't have to butcher the song either. Look at the way she hands the food to the birds...she looks out of it.

For everyone talking about enunciation, I believe that she is phenomenal and that the quality of the video and sound is making her sound worse than she is.

I feel that people dont realize that her character should have stayed in that nut house, try watching the original and try not laugh. Celia did this song musically justice, but not as insane as I'd like. Love the hell outt her though

Yes she's a great singer, but she doesn't seem nearly as virgin-like and pure as the Johanna in the movie, which I think should be her key characteristics...
