just a tutorial on how to get Ba(NO3)2 from sparklers, Ba(NO3)2 is a powerful oxidizer, and you can also get very fine iron from the filtering and what else they use as metal fuel in sparklers (:
the flashpowder with Ba(NO3)2 i make is Ba(NO3)2 /Mg 2:3 by volume.. as im a true 'k3wl' and dont have a scale q:
and i havent tried anything else than using kno3 paper fuse for my 2:3 bano3 flashpowder.. so im not sure if it works wihout kno3 fuse.. or well it probably needs alot of heat to ignite

  • @antiswattt2 yea i wanted to do something rather different cuz i tried sodium flames and potassium, barium is up now :DD

again many thanks and ur video helps me alot

  • @bassam1911995 oh.. well green is a much stronger colour than pink/purple (potassium is one of them..) tho sodium (yellow) easily makes it more yellow than green..

  • @antiswattt2 it's a mixture mate and that's all i wanted to hear :DD

    MANY THANKS MAN :DD

  • @bassam1911995 well.. barium burns green, so it will add a green colour to the flash.. so why kclo3?? i dont know about sulfur and aluminium.. but magnesium... (: works juuust fine hehe...

  • @antiswattt2 like say after i make barium nitrate out of sparklers as the vid shows then mix it with sulfur and aluminium (white flash)or with potassium chlorate (green fire) , it will do the job right ?

  • @bassam1911995 nononono (: it doesnt burn or anything.. needs a fuel.. it will burn as much as KNO3 (; equals.. none at all.. but it will oxidize fuels.. its not like white phosphorus.. completely stable.. except for if you know something i dont? :S

  • @antiswattt2 no like for fireworks and flash powders and so, but will i have to put it in closed tight container or will it burn instantly straigth after obtaining it

  • @bassam1911995 well when you got the crystals and have dried them and powdered them AND mixed it (around) 1:1 by volume with magnesium it wont be a very sensitive flashpowder to flame (as i remember?) it will need abit of heat (now i mean not as sensitive as armstrongs mixture..) or you meant something else? S:

  • oh yea one more thing, will it readily be ignited when so or will i have to use a dessicator ??

  • @antiswattt2 yea dont worry i heard it's a bad appetizer xDD

yes i'll check all these stuff out for domestic uses so many thankss really this oudda help me alot :)
