  • your only looking at it from your point of view...

  • @GingieMalmsteen Yes.... I am. It's also the view of anybody that has respect for others. You think I support our Government... no I don't. You think I support spending cuts.... no I don't. BUT, I was taught respect by my parents, and I would never steal off someone else simply because they are more successful than me. Business owners have WORKED hard to get where they are, only to have their lives destroyed by people that have possibly never done a days work in their lives.

she has 2degrees and allot of work experience.

but she is unable to find a job, applied to way over 200 companies, and signed up to agencies.

  • ***insert bullshit here***

  • @DeathOnToast5 temp work often leads to a perminant placement if your good, if not then you can use the time in that job role to make contacts, and it's also another thing you can put on your c.v. as 'work experience'.

as often finding a job is hard because even if you have the quals they will just turn round and say 'sorry you do not have the experience' and will pick some other applicant with experience...even if it's minor.

  • @DeathOnToast5 you need to tailor your c.v. to the job your applying for, and if that means altering your c.v. slightly on each application, then your gonna have to. my gf has finally got a job interview, as an apprentice manager-14k a year. not ideal, but has potential. Just make your c.v. easily edditable by you, so for example, you can twist the truth of your past work experience, and your ability to be directed at being perfect for the job your applying for. Look for Temp work too.

  • @bkermike i totally hear what you are saying, with my c.v. i am literally not able to get a job, i have studied for two years at college passing both courses and i just cannot get a job. it is fucking rediculous.

  • Not being funny, if you can't find a job it can be hard but you need to try harder, there are lots of jobs out there, i know they may not be the most high flying or glamorous but they are there. There is NO excuse whatsoever to act in this way, just because someone has something that you haven't does not give you the right to take it, grow up,man up and face facts. And all this rubbish about poor education etc, everyone knows whats right and wrong regardless !!!

  • GOOD LAD! I support you! I study in Bristol.

  • not just from you from the whole of England

  • I find your message very narrow minded in the fact you say grow up and get a job...these people have no prospects.. poor education leading to the fact there are little jobs available so competition is so high for so few jobs..and these people are fed up of being pushed around by the system..and the only way they know how to vent their frustrations is this way and with opinions like "lets shoot them all" is not constructive either.. and this is how they know how to say we aint taking it no more

  • @cldconnections i understand the tesco riots because tesco would have destroyed alot of local businesses owned by people who acctually put lots of hard work into their businesses, but these britol riots are just pointless, and are just giving the gonvernment more reason to put police men on every corner all day everyday, limit times in the day where we can go certain places and make the country more jail like. bristol has no reason to riot as most of the rioters are well off people being greedy.
