I just thought I'd put this up. Here's Gilmore Girls' last scene, from episode 7x22 Bon Voyage. Luke opens early so that Rory can have her goodbye breakfast.

In my mind the show goes on with Lorelai and Luke starting over again, and eventually getting married. Rory leaves to pursue her journalism career, and becomes this star reporter. One day while walking the streets, she runs into Jess who is in town promoting his new book. The two of them start talking again and realize that their love for each other never disappeared so they eventually end up together :) Love or hate it, that's how I'll always imagine it.

@sowhat5000 Yep - thats exactly how I see it. Logan was ookkaay, but Rory had that instant attraction and connection only ever with Jess. Thanks, that is how I will think of the conclusion now. :)

fair enough :) In my mind it goes like this:

lorelai and Luke end op working things out and get married, and have kids :) rory pursues her career for about a year, and then runs into Logan again through work. They talk about what happened and rory admits she was just scared and needed more time they realize they love each other & get back together... and she and jess become friends again.... ive always been more of a rogan fan than a rory/jess :) b

Honestly this is a great ending. Yeah I would love to know how lorelai and luke wound up but this was the perfect ending...lorelai and rory eating at lukes while luke's nearby watching over them as usual :) <3

I got a little disapointed in the end of the last season! I REALLY REALLY REALLY wanted Rory and Logan to be together, and I still don't know about Lorelai and Luke, I guess part of me wanted her to be with Christopher, but I like Luke anyway. But this Rory and Logan thing, they really should get married! What was wrong with the writers when they made Rogan split up? :(
