@darla620 They should totally do that in the eighth installment of the series! I say that because according to the small amount of beta footage of MK7, that wouldn't work well with that game. I just don't think the feeling would be there, but I'm probably not making much sense.

@BenderPictures IMO, I think the Wii was just meant to be a fun party game type console that you and your firends could enjoy rather than it being a serious game console. These gimmicks maybe cheesy but they are actually fun to play with and its even better if you are playing with 3 other people. anyways, my point is, I dont think its a sin that they are out of ideas, I think it just means they are changing what they are about, which can be a good or bad thing depending on how you look at it

Double Dash > MK Wii. The Wii version is just proof they're out of ideas. Gimmicks like plastic wheels, motor bikes, throwing in way too many racers and items are just sad attempts to get kids to buy games. And unfortunately, it's working.
I just wish I could buy another Mario Kart game with as much quality and soul as DD. It was faster paced and actually required skill, not just how many bullet bills you get in a race. Also, it was made half a decade before Wii and the graphics are BETTER.
