This is off my favorite Jay Z album The Blueprint. It features a sample by Natalie Cole off of the song "I Can't Break Away."

It was originally produced by Bink, an amazing producer when it comes to sampling anyway. The arrangement is initially confusing because of the length of the sample and the timing of the differnet sounds but once you get about 2 to 4 bars its pretty much set.

  • Overall great fucking job, some of the instruments can be manipulated to sound more like the original but shit u did it justice!

  • @kulchaYclypse Preciate it!

  • I love how Bink only used that small piece of that Natalie Cole joint and made a hot record. Nice work!!!! I think I might remake that new bink joint Devil In A New Dress when I get the time.

  • @nwcn2009 That's exactly what I said! I also looked up the sample of Devil In A New Dress cause I wanted to remake it but I honestly didn't know where to start, good luck with it and let me know once you get it! Plus I thought it was No I.D. who did it, but opps!

  • @Nadetastic44 The sample to Devil In A New Dress is Smokey Robinson - Will You Love Me Tomorrow off of his 1973 LP titled Smokey. I happen to have that on wax if you want the sample.

  • @nwcn2009 Definitely, I'd love to get that
