If Tom Waits swallowed a rock, he would shit out a polished marble. His music is like the devil's interpretation of a Disney soundtrack- Listening to him is terrifying, awe-inspiring, and surreal, like listening to the primal urges of a veteran violinist in the midst of a nervous breakdown. If George Orwell had lived long enough to hear Tom Waits, Orwell would never have written 1984... speaking of which, WHY IS TOM WAITS NOT THE LEADER OF THE WORLD???
