As sad as it is, their parents may have been responsible for them being in the sex trade. Babies are not routinely adopted by other Moroccans, there are many unwed mothers in Morocco these days. I've read that young boys are sold for the sum of $3000 by their father to be used as boy dancers which is just another form of prostitution. Incest and pedophillia is epidemic in Morocco.
