Composer: Jan Savitt, New York (1939)
A remarkable member of the band was: Django Reinhardt (g).
This is a German "Telefunken"-78rpm-recording, played on my portable "His Master's Voice " gramofone, Serie 102c from 1938 (with green leather case).

  • Lord's discography says it was recorded in Brussels, November 20, 1941. The band is performing the original stock arrangement, which was arranged by Jack Mason and, believe it or not, was still in print until a few years ago.
