I don't have basically any of my genealogy on my computer other than pictures. I got everything in my desk and if i get a fire im so screwed but i got no desire of putting it all the computer. I just print out all the passenger lists, censuses, and all other records and keep them in paper. I like your videos a lot and i think you're really good looking too...

I use Passage Express to organize my genealogy & make CDs for reunions. That way if something happens to my genealogy, say a disaster, I have family members that have backups.

Yes - that is so important! Especially with all the floods, tornados, hurricanes, fires - whatever - it is so important to make sure that your genealogy isn't destroyed. That is why I upload my genealogy to 3 different websites about 2 times a month.
I also keep all my paper files and pictures/photoalbums in a metal file cabinet. While it is heavy, I could always push it. My dad can also pick it up on his own. It just makes me feel safe until all the photos are scanned.
