Your timing is incredible. Just this morning I came across a video that you should watch. Benny Hinn warns people about false revivals. Type in "Benny Hinn - Freedom from Deceptive Revival". Then watch "Todd Bentley's apostolic and prophetic commissioning 2/4" which co-stars Bill Johnson @ Lakeland.

ahh but I do believe God performs miracles and I am not Baptist. I became disillusioned w/ "word of faith" (although I was ignorant of the doctrines name), after my pastor wouldn't listen to me about taking statements out of context from the bible and building teachings around these. I knew this was wrong because I had studied and debated w/ a Jehovah Witnesses member. Their prophets in NY do exactly the same thing to justify their so called enlighted teaching. But they're in the dark.

He sells them but does not copyright them, free to distribute to whomever you wish. If he doesn't produce material to sell, how would he be able to realistically fund his ministry? Even the disciples had people give to fund their ministry..

Do you think that He is implying that we have to pay money? Bill's basic message is that we must seek God first with everything in us and also desire to do what Jesus told us we could do. 1 Corinthians 12:31 tells us "But earnestly desire the greater gifts." and in 1 Corinthians 14:1 says "Pursue love, yet desire earnestly spiritual gifts..." In Mark 16:15-18 Jesus tells us to "Go into all the world and preach the gospel to all creation. He who has believed and has been baptized shall be saved

Do not be deceived, can one purchase the spiritual gift of prophecy ? Can we pay a T.V. pastor, or pay to go to a seminar, or supernatural ministry school to become one ? I wonder how , when it is God who decides who gets what gift "But one and the same Spirit works all these things, distributing to each one individually as He wills." (1 Corinthians 12, v 11)

but he who has disbelieved shall be condemned. These signs will accompany those who have believed: in my name they will cast out demons, they will speak in new tongues; they will pick upserpents, and if they drink any deadly poison, it will not hurt them; they will lay hands on the sick and they will recover." The question is do we really believe scripture, or do we try to manipulate it so that we feel better about our present powerless condition? Let us seek God and all His fullness.
