@YoungMoneyvsDisco2 First of all --> I said: The first PC as we know it (with a GUI) came from Xerox.

Otherwise, the credits would go to Apple (who 'stole' the idea from xerox).

On a sidenote, a Mac IS a PC, Apple called it a 'personal computer' themselvers.

And second: Ubuntu came out in 2004. GNU/Linux knew it first release in 1991.

The GNU project is pretty old too, but they were not the first.

I'm a full-time Ubuntu-user myself by the way.
