From still photos, travel through a time when cuts in subsidy saw massive losses of WN's rural bus mileage. The Tory Heath govt undoing everything put in place by the previous administration regarding the bus industry. Did they ultimately succeed? Well look at things today and decide for yourself............

  • This is a masterpiece. The photos are full of atmosphere and it's great to see some of my favourite buses in their heyday.

  • Crikey, I used to work for WN out of Tavistock, but this is way before my time

  • That is apsolutely brillient. And especially the part about Torpoint. I never really knew that they had done so much to serve us and then have to cut it. And even worse when Badgerline and First then took over. Torpoint depot only runs 3 routes now. And one of them is only 2 a day.

  • great pics

  • Nice video!
