Low altitude fighter... I think.. There's a HF version as well, which was designed for high altitudes.. :)

I haven't posted the video yet.. :)

What does 'LF' mean?
-
I didn't notice that :O

Ps: As you're a stickler for accuracy you will no doubt notice that the Spit is lacking the gullwing, when I post the video.. but it's still not too bad a kit.. :)

I 'donated' the Airfix 1/72 'Landing Craft' to the kit pile, and Eric the ship builder got it.. but he doesn't know that yet, as he's down in the Mediterrainian on a ship, wining & dining with the First Sealord.,. Still, at least that kit should not be too much of a challenge for him when he gets going on it, ha ha ha ha.. :)

Well, what can I say.. but good luck! Looking forward to a good outcome of the P-39 project.. fingers crossed and all that!! :) We had the annual 'Mystery Christmas Kit Swap' at the club last night & just for once I was very very lucky! I picked up a 'Matchbox' 1/48 Spitfire LF.VIII, which is a basic kit, but looks ok (very much like a Mk.IX) and it's perfect for a project that has to be done in a month! I started it this morning after work.. :) :)
Nice video, I used to fly from Cov before it shut (I now fly from Wellesbourne) , apparantly the airport is about to re-open that Sir Rigby guy has completed the sale of the airport yesterday!
