@Yearrae I really believe this is a circulated rumor. I couldn't find any factual evidence to back up that claim.

I am starting to really love this guy! It took twenty something years, but it finally happened, darn you Richard!

its not that he aged well, he actually had a few plastic surgeries believe it or not, its extremely noticeable.
also he doesn't blink normally which means eye surgery gone partially wrong.
fantastic songwriter, singer though.

If David Foster is the Hitman, I can say that Richard Marx is the Ninja... Great songwriter he is! ^_^

Does anyone else think he resembles Jim Caviezel....

Now i wanna know more of what his dad wrote as jingles... 2 scoops? holy crap!!! that is Time-less, say it with me.. timeless. Jingle writers = alpha song writers

A better response to the other guy's comment is "Why is country music starting to sound more like pop music?"

Analytical interview. It proves that even the title of the album has meaning. He makes other singers big stars. The reason for not becoming a big celebrity is because of not compromising on the standards of the music, lyrics and the videos. "My own best enemy" means the enemy actually his non popular, ethical and moral standards which he tries to maintain today against the popular garbage music of the new ones. A very refined person with good intellect.

Dude was 41 years here - he looks like a hot dude at 30 years - he's aging well - and his attitude towards music and songwriting - is amazing - I love his music and lyrics - and his voice - he's very underrated...but u know...perhaps it's a good thing he hasn't had a wild level of fame - he seems very well balanced....
Love this guy!

Repeat Offender was one of the best albums released in the late 80's.....
this guy is very good at what he does and he knows it very confident... not cocky at all but confident... this guy had a rough time getting signed so i am happy for him

I am amazed at the high standard of responsibility he holds as a writer. In the past I've thought that writers write as the words come to him or her--like a spiritual thing, but it appears that his father taught him to go through the paces (get up, go to work, etc.) and the words will come. This is a very strong work ethic in an artistic realm. I love Richard Marx's songwriting and have for a long time..."If I see you next to never, then how can we say forever"...he's a very talented writer.
