Quel merveilleux mozartien. J'ai eu le privilège de le voir il y a quelques jours dans un Idoménée de folie à Paris et je me suis pris une grosse claque
@fairlytaleofnewyork Please let me know how to contact him; I know we can organize a good show for him in Perú.At least a recital so we can share his wonderful talent with all us!!!Please let me know if you can help us.
He sings and acts wonderfully and his coloratura has not changed at all. His Orphee with Minkowski and Idomeneo with Minkowski and Jacobs are just amazing.
Newsflash, nobility was abolished a while ago. The only thing the decision making idiots might destroy a little bit is the elitistic renomme of opera. If they were to set this in a brothel on Mars I'd be the first to get a ticket because that sounds like a buttload of delight. Maybe even you'll be convinced to see it if they promise that the lesbian vampires will still be wearing powdered wigs and silk stockings. What do you say? We got a date? Contact me, I'm not that far from Frankfurt!
Miss BethDiane, thank you for your response. I think it will be great for Lima's audience here at S. America. I cannot find any refference of who is his manager or anything like that. I am sure he would be very much liked in here, as I do myself.
He is. Somewhere there's a video of him singing "Fuor del mar" with Les Musiciens du Louvre, from last year, I think, and he sounds uncannily the same.
Richard Croft is perfect

Oops! "Vorrei punirti, indegno" is on this DVD; I was confusing it with "Noi donne poverine," which isn't.
