ProGay protest vs Oil Price Hikes in Manila

Goya Candelario, spokesperson for Progressive Organization of Gays in the Philippines, lead a group of gay and transgender youth and joined a massive people's protest organized by transport groups and social movements. They marched on the Presidential Palace in the capitol city of the Philippines, calling for the scrapping of the pro-cartel Oil Deregulation Law, control of petroleum prices and the prices of food, rents and utilities, and the nationalization of the oil industry.
