still even though i erased my comment i cannot wait to build my own PC. i am getting a similar power supply, coolmax brand, modular, and a ton of connectors. lol. though my RAM will be corsair RAM. the least of corsair RAM you can have is 6 GB. And i think you should either overclock your RAM, or get a AMD used ram.. Just suggesting some perfomance help. Ur right i wont need 12 GB of ram. But i believe i should go with 6GB just incase. With your RAM, since you have an AMD processor it down clocks your RAM because it is likely made to be used with and Intel chip and board. I had this issue with mine. All you need to do is OC it up to stock.
