It is really not necessary to install any driver and scanning software on the PC. The driver and the software CaptureOnTouch Lite runs from the P-150 itself!

Nothing to install on the PC - no software to remove from the PC after scanning. Canons P-150 is the world first scanner device with this Plug and Scan functionality.

windows don't come with this kind of stuff!!!!!!

it does probably install the scanner automatically, but it doesn't mean that any install isn't necessary!
