In 1987, I gave a lecture series on superstrings at 5 Danish universities. It was the first such series (at least in Denmark) based on computer-animated graphics, and I composed a theme melody for the series, which is played in this clip from the concluding summary, stating that if the superstring theory is what governs the world, then God must have been a mathematician. The accompaniment to the tune is created by a fractal computer algorithm. Another video file lets you hear an organ improvisation on the superstring melody.
