This was my friend Chris's audition video for Pace University in NY. The monologue is taken from the play "Copenhagen."
"Copenhagen" is a play by Michael Frayn, based around an event that occurred in Copenhagen in 1941, a meeting between the physicists Niels Bohr and Werner Heisenberg.
I added the music and de-saturation effects in the hopes of complimenting but not overshadowing Chris's performance and giving it a more cinematic feel.
Please do forgive the few brief creaks from the tripod and the fidgety camera operator who was just trying to get his shot!
I'm sorry but this is way over the top, too sentimentalised and there's no characterisation whatsoever to suggest Heisenberg...

Oh darling, Chris doesn't know how to use his hands. Parallel motions are bad, as is indicating. I like his voice and think the music is total overkill.

Excellent performance 5/5.
The background music is from the original score from the movie "the fountain" FYI.

Good! I doubt that Heisenberg was that emotional and there was too little physics in this segment for my tastes, but good arts.

I love your friends performance. I'm doing the same monologue, and this video has been extraordinarily helpful.
