GEM-Line Provides a Clear Advantage

In producing swine, about 70% of production costs are spent on feed. So it's no surprise that producers want to maximize the return they get on their feed.

Statistics in a study by Novus and the University of Missouri at Columbia proved that a Novus GEM-Line program provided a clear advantage in many important areas.

Here's what the study found:

•ACTIVATE DA improved average daily gain, or ADG, and average daily feed intake, or ADFI, by 2-6%
•Final body weight was three kilograms heavier than the control
•Carcass weight was increased 2.5 kilograms
•Pigs that received ACTIVATE DA supplementation were worth $4.20more per pig than the control
•And with the GEM-Line program, pigs had a $3.30 higher return over feed, or ROF, over the control

The GEM-Line program demonstrated a clear advantage.
