The higher center of gravity helps with running fast. West Africans have fast twitch muscle for sprinting and explosiveness where the east Africans are better distance runners. Whites, on the other hand, have lower centers of gravity and more slow twitch muscle. These things are great for raw power and muscle endurance, the low center of gravity helps with certain other sports, like swimming and gymnastics.
Now, the big rub here is,these differences are very small.Only at the top do they matter
