I used to like their debut album the most, but now it's a tie between that and Era Vulgaris!

QOTSA's ability to make music that sounds fucking good but different the stuff they've done before is what makes them so fucking unique & awesome.
-
Exactly!
I bought Songs for the Deaf a few years ago, then I bought Era Vulgaris, and one month ago I got Rated R. All three off them are different in sound, but I like all of them. :)
Also, you need to check out Them Crooked Vulture (if you haven't already done so) :P

Im at uni in Milwaukee and i'm pretty sure there's only one other person in my dorm who knows who they are. i'm not saying they're underground, but aside from people who listen to a whole lot of music or listen to alt rock radio stations extremely regularly, not way too many people know who QoTSA are.

They look as awesome as they sound. Sexy as hell.

You guys need to stop winging about them "apparently selling out" just becuase they sound different! Different doesn't necessarily mean bad, especially not in this case. I like all of Queens work and and this song right here is so awesome as does their latest work "Era Vulgaris" it's very creative and experimental, it rocks!

@Jukkis07 So very right. Thanks.

love it! love this video. and Josh Homme (no homo)

People are such idiots if they think QOTSA is mainstream nowadays, when they are in their most experimental phase ever. It's only mainstream 'cause it sells, it doesn't always mean the music is shit. Although it is the case in most of MTV-music.

This album fucking rocks! I love how they evolve from album to album, you never get bored and you've always got a fresh perspective on what's driving those boys to write. They always keep their awesome groove and grit though, and that is why I love them.
