Voting for the US elections does not happen exclusively in the United States; Americans living in South Africa and elsewhere, as well as Americans in certain US states, are able to cast their votes by mail and by Election day the US state department estimates one-third of Americans might already have cast their votes. The Times spoke to a passionate Obama supporter and a McCain supporter, both of whom are living in SA, to
find out how what its like to experiencing the US presidential elections from a distance.

  • I like to see where Americans live abroad be able to vote at the nearest US Embassy and Nearest US Consulate to vote for Federal Candidates.
