THE HUMAN PROJECT

At the beginning of the 21st century we humans find ourselves in a bit of an existential pickle.

Some of us are even placing bets that we will not live to see the 22nd century.

Erika and Anna think that it all depends on who you see when you look in the mirror.

BIO
Erika Ilves and Anna Stillwell spend most of their waking hours understanding where we come from as a species, how we got to the present moment, what the big challenges of our time are, and where we should go next as a species and why.

  • These woman nailed it! This is how we need to start thinking as a species.

  • They gave them some mean looks. Some of us still think like animals, like selfish beings that don't question existence but rather just eat, reproduce and die. If you tell them that what they have done all this time is wrong, this is the result. We all need to grow up as humans...

  • Eliminate patents and copyrights and we will be off to a good start.

  • Mind-blowing speech! Imagine if we all would step up and be part of the Human Project, look ourselves in the mirror and see everything that has been and everything that will come - and how we need to play our part in it. Well done Ilves and Stillwell!!!

  • Well - I wouldn't classify this talk or the speakers

    in the "horrible" category.

The human project is challenging you to think bigger. I was always enthralled with the writing of Buckminster Fuller who also challenged people to think bigger: who always told anyone that would listen that we had the power and resources to succeed as a species; and that the purpose of humans was information gatherer and knowledge constructor - in support of the Universe.

  • Awesome talk!

  • Dubai... where inspirational talks go to die.

the message was good, the speakers were horrible.
