@Jared1287QU Cote is a heavyweight. i liked it when stevens put him in as a 4th liner. get him 6 minutes of ice a game maybe. carcillo cant protect his teamates from people like orr, brashear, laraque. i was at a game where richards was getting thrown around and dirty hit by orr. carcillo didnt want any of it! remember? Cote makes me feel safe that i know our team wont back down.

@girltant NOT everyone in Philadelphia (that's the name of the city I live in) likes Cote. Why is it that through all of the injuries we sustained this season, Cote never came up to play with the Flyers once? Maybe because the coaching staff decided there were other players who showed more discipline and work ethic than Riley has. I like how you're getting offended over a player who's been on waivers since October. Cote had nothing to do with where we are now. Don't even pretend.

Every team has players that are just scratches in case of injury or something. just stop fucking talking. everyone in philly likes cote cause hes got heart. something that the flyers are gonna need to win this series. everyone has to play like mike richards does.

@girltant uhh... I mean... we didn't use him at all this season, so that should tell you something. He's just so slow on his skates, and if you look at the fights he fought last season- HE LOST ALL OF THEM. Maybe not all, to be fair, but the VAST majority were decidedly against him. He's a lousy defender, he can't pass or shoot, etc. etc. I'm not saying he's entirely worthless, but we don't need him in Philadelphia. Downey landed on his feet in Tampa Bay, they love him there.
