That is a violation of Italian food sense.
Listen lady, Ketchup belongs on french fries and NOTHING else.
(Okay, exemptions made for hot dogs, but only in the summer when used with either relish or mustard or both.)

That's what I did when I lived in SoCal. They think that an italian surname is enough to be a real italian. Tsk. I met some so called italian americans that were convinced that the pizza was invented in USA...
