DYING HAIR - Black to blonde hair

Dying your hair blonde!
I'm not a hair stylist or anything.
Correct me if i'm wrong.
I'm only speaking from my own personal experiences!
I've finally got around to attempting how to explain how I dye my hair, and how i get the hair color that i have. It's a question that I get asked a lot!

@SecretAsianGurl after the first bleach on my dark hair it turned orange. and after the second bleach it was yellow. after that i dyed it an ash blonde...

If you have naturally dark hair with red and gold undertones already what color do you recommend? Also I have light skin... Also your hair looks like it has a lot of low lights and high lights... did you do that bye just dying it?

I want as ash as possible. Im natural ash blonde and I dyed my hair a dark brown and now its costing a lot of money to try and get it back to blonde, I had a full head of foils that are like platinum clean blonde (some are a bit warm because of the brown dye i had on my hair) and so I put a dark blonde rinse on it to tone it and make it blend in. I have no idea how you can just dye your hair light and have it come out nice and ash like that! Im natural blonde and mine goes orange.
