  • I love the old fold effect.

  • @yepdrinker Hehe, me too!

  • @eckergus I like the new one too, but having the ship disappear and reappear looks cooler then exiting a portal.

  • @yepdrinker Macross Frontier is amazing indeed. Although I was not very happy with the way the store unfolded at the end of the show, I must say, Macross F has set a new bar for Mecha animation and dynamics! Two thumbs up!

  • Why is Max leading?

  • @atjnAdfhhjea Interesting fact. In the show Hikaru takes Roy's place after his death and flies Roy's VF-1S. In the movie Max takes Roy's place and flies a VF-1S with Max's own color scheme. There are many theories, but no one really knows why...

  • This is a great movie!

The Meltrandi are probably the most interesting science fiction aliens that I've come across.

  • I agree. Its story line and concept makes it one of the greatest Sci Fi films in the world of animation.

  • @eckergus Me too, but I always enjoy space scenes, like the city ship and various outdoor scene. I just like looking at the ships.

  • I mean with new graphic skills like Marcross F n Zero.

  • At about 2:29 they shoot out the lights, which greatly saves on animation costs. :)
