@Trgamemas if the lowest note is open, and it it doesn't match your low E string... the tuning is dropped, if the lowest note is open and it doesn't match your low E string dropped to D, then it is most likely drop C or open C tuning, but when it comes to my tunings I go as low as F lmao , luckily I have fatty strings.

@Trgamemas Once you've been playing for a while you just know by hearing the open low string being played to know the tuning. C has a very distinctive sound when it's just played open.
-
@Vheissu1234 lol how can you tell its in drop c just by ear? lol you need to teach me how to do that :D
-
@Vheissu1234 lol, you have no idea what you are talking about. YES, the song is in Drop C, but our buddy KeithNida84 is not playing up a register. His guitar is just tuned to Bb, so he has to capo it up two notches.
-
@Vheissu1234 Yeah, but that means then his guitar is tuned to drop B-flat... which, for a 24.75" scale guitar (which this looks like), is really low even with 13's. I thought Chevelle normally played i drop-B, which I guess they don't. Thanks.

@bmpprod The song is actually in Dropped C. He is most likely using a capo so he doesn't have to tune down to C.
-
What's up with the capo? Is your guitar tuned to drop A or is Chevelle playing higher up?

Awesome
Good, but you're missing one note on the main riff. The first time it's the 3rd fret, second time it's the 1st fret on the G string down to the 2nd-open chug on the low C.
