As Michelle Gielan reports, Citigroup's new $50 million jet has the company in hot water. Steve Forbes spoke with Harry Smith about government bailout spending.
The Four Horsemen of Banking (Bank of America, JP Morgan Chase, Citigroup and Wells Fargo) own the Four Horsemen of Oil (Exxon Mobil, Royal Dutch/Shell, BP and Chevron Texaco); in tandem with Deutsche Bank, BNP, Barclays and other European old money behemoths. But their monopoly over the global economy does not end at the edge of the oil patch.According to company 10K filings to the SEC, the Four Horsemen of Banking are among the top ten stock holders of virtually every Fortune 500 corporation
Hey "a41ounce" the jet that they are buying isn't american made. It's french! It's the Dassault Falcon 7X. It's priced between 50 and 75 Million Dollars! 98% of the money will go to FRANCE! Not to america!!!!!!! I think that i would know... since i'm a corporate pilot! Citigroup and the "Big Three" shouldn't accept the Dassault!
RETARDS. They just gave thousands and thousands of people jobs that built this plane.... i gaurenteed 40million went strait into our economy. pretty smart... lets stop giving hobos money. and this bailout plan
you do realize that if they did do that there would be a paper trail a mile long leading right back to the stock owner. The bottom line is that people are watching and these execs can't do stupid things like that without getting caught. They have to be smarter about it then just selling their stock
50,000,000 for a jet bought with bailout money ??? -- and im eating bologna for dinner during the world wide crisis we're having ??? Citigroups lame excuse was "it will save citigroup money" -- The jet seats 12 ppl. Why don't you suit F**ks fly coach like the rest of us. I have to work 15 years past my retirement time now because of you greedy F**ckers.

it's citibank's fault for not being more careful with their lending standards. citibank and others should go BK for its incompetence.
