  • @DrFakkamann stepper motors dont have an infinite step. they work in set positions unike voice coil which can move in infinite movements, thats why in 80's hard disks if they get too cold the disks will shrink, and the place where the sectors are formatted cannot be reached because the stepper cant lock into that position.
