If Americans are so fantasticaly literate why do statitics say say something else? Americans know how to read and write all of them. Mexicans obviously don't speak the English language so how can they be literate in it? Think!

And yes finding the main source that gives all life(water) on the moon is a huge advantage, but of course I don't expect you Europeans to understand anything about space exploration, considering how your space program is less then 1/100 compared to ours..

Literacy rate isnt English language exclusive... illiterate means people cant read or write in their own language. Also I'd be careful blaming immigrants coming from a country that was built by immigrants. Also finding water on the moon is a great achievement how? Well for starters we discovered water on the moon just the other day. A huge step if we plan to colonize it.

The Literacy rate in America is 100%. However its the mexicans and other immigrants cant read because they dont know the language..

I'll openly admit America has done great things. Beating Hitler, the Marshall plan etc. but what has America done lately? We all know GDP ignores other factors vital to the well-being of its population. Multiple countries are looking to do away with GDP as a indicator of national wealth.
